The cost to provide construction inspection, contract administration and surveying is estimated to be $7,500.

Council Member Ross Lorinser resigns

Council Member Ross Lorinser announced his resignation during the meeting, saying he will no longer be able to serve because he’s moving out of the city and will no longer be a resident of Isanti.

“It has been a pleasure and honor to serve the residents of Isanti in a fiscally responsible manner,” he said. “I’ve enjoyed this job and everything about it.”

Lorinser will attend the next City Council meeting May 15, after which his resignation will be in effect. His term was set to expire December 2014.

The Council accepted his resignation and called for a special election to be held this fall during the general election.
