You have one last chance to get in on this class. Just like an automobile, your computer needs to be on a maintenance schedule. Although new computers automatically update themselves, there are other things that computer users need to know.
Join the Cambridge Public Library for a 90-minute class to learn about malware, software updates, anti-virus protection and more. They won’t, however, be taking the computer apart. This will be an informational class on computer maintenance basics.
The class will be offered Tuesday, May 8, at 1 p.m. at the Cambridge Public Library. Pre-register by Wednesday, May 2, by calling the library at 763-7390 x15 or stopping by.
This workshop is presented by East Central Regional Library as part of their Digital Immigrants II series teaching individuals new technology skills. Limited seating is available and pre-registration is required.
The classes are made possible with a LSTA grant from the Institute of Library and Museum Services administered by the Minnesota Department of Education.
