The format for the morning will be different from River of Life’s typical services. They will be interviewed regarding best parenting practices in the following areas:
• Blended families
• Children that have drifted
• How not to parent adult children
“Every parent wants to raise their family well,” said Mark Radeke, pastor of River of Life Church. “River of Life is going through a parenting series called, Raising G-rated Children in an R-rated World. I am looking forward to the practical insights based on the Bible that Larry and Becky will share on Sunday.”
Larry and Becky have been married for three years. They have four children, ages 24-34, and nine grandchildren.
Larry grew up in a Jewish home in New York City. He is the senior pastor of Country Faith Church in Clearbrook, Minn., located just south of Red Lake and has served the church for the past 27 years.
Becky is the co-director of Clear Waters Life Center, a non-profit organization in two communities which offers adult basic education classes, youth programs, chemical dependency, grief support, parent’s forever, anger management, counseling services, coaching services and a residential program helping young adults develop healthy lifestyles.
River of Life Church meets at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday at 915 Main St. S. in Cambridge, located just south of the Dairy Queen.
