Matthew 25 Food Ministry

Saturday, April 14: The Matthew 25 Food Distribution Ministry will be held at 9 a.m. at Isanti Middle School. Spirit River Community distributes food to any and all who show up. If any would like to help with the food distribution be there at 8 a.m. and ask for Jim Dehn or Kevin Schluck.

April Annihilation Fundraiser for Special Olympics

Saturday, April 14: An April Annihilation Fundraiser to benefit Cambridge-Isanti Special Olympics will be held at the Isanti Ice Arena. The event will feature five action-packed matches featuring former AWA & WWF Star Tony Denucci and Singing Sensation Talia Rae. Doors open at 6 p.m., with matches beginning at 7 p.m. Adults are $10, students, $5 and 10 and under free ($20 maximum per family). Come and be a part of the T. V. Taping. This is an all ages family show. The arena is located at 600 1st Ave. N. in Isanti.

PFLAG Meeting

Men’s Tennis League

Monday, April 16: The Men’s Tennis League commences at 6:30 p.m. at the Cambridge-Isanti High School tennis courts. This league is open to men of all abilities and ages. Come on down and they will match you with players of your ability. They play both singles and doubles. If any women, of all ages, are interested in organizing a league, let them know. Parkinson’s Support Group

Wednesday, April 18: The Parkinsons Support Group will hold their regular meeting from 10-11:30 a.m. at GracePointe Crossing, Commons Building, 1545 River Hills Parkway, Cambridge. Guest speaker is Dr. Achenbach. Individuals with Parkinson’s, their families and caregivers are invited to attend.

Community Health Fair at GracePointe Crossing

Thursday, April 19: GracePointe Crossing Gables West will hold a Community Health Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn ways to improve your health physically, spiritually and emotionally with healthy cooking tips, stress management tips, hearing aid maintenance, blood pressure checks, walker checks, as well as information on living wills and wellness journals. There will be tours, door prizes and refreshments.

Free Community Dinner

Thursday, April 19: A free Community Dinner will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Use the downstairs entrance. Everyone is welcome to join for a time of fellowship and a meal. Call the church office at 763-444-9201 with questions.

Walleye Dinner

Friday, April 20: A walleye dinner will be served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Dalbo. Serving walleye, homemade meatballs, parsley buttered potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, relishes, rolls, coffee, milk and bars. Adults: $10, ages 6-12: $4, 5 and under: free.

Riverboat Gala at Spirit River

Pancake Breakfast to benefit 3-Day Team

Sunday, April 22: A Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the Isanti Community Center. The event is hosted by the Isanti Lions, with proceeds benefitting the Isanti 3-Day Team. $6 Adults, $5 Seniors and children 6-12, under 6 are free. Basket raffle, Quilt raffle and cookbooks available. Tickets available from any Isanti 3 Day Walker and at the door.
