The Braham boys placed 4th and the girls finished 5th when the Bombers got in their first outdoor meet at the April 5 Ogilvie Invite.
Senior leader Jacob Rajkowski sprinted to personal-bests in the 100 (11.29, 2nd), 200 (23.2, 1st) and 400 (51.93, 1st), setting a team record in the 400 in the process.
Dillon Arispe added more big points with a 2nd in the 110 hurdles (19.9) and a 3rd in the 800 (2:23). Zach Dahlman placed in three events, the triple jump (35-11, 3rd), the 400 (54.7, 3rd) and the long jump (16-2). Thomas Warner added a 4th in the 1600 (5:29).
With a limited squad, the Bombers were led by top distance runner Rachel Eskuri who won the 1600 (6:01) and took 2nd in the 3200 (13:34). Jenna Winter also came through with a 1st place in the 800 (2:45) and a 2nd in the pole vault (6-06). Jaclyn Hollenkamp scored a pair of 2nds in the 100 (13.6) and 200 (29.1). She also teamed with Julia Lindgren, Kayla Nickles and Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow for a 2nd-place in the 4×200 (1:59).
The Rush City squads swept the GRC gathering at Ogilvie, with the Mille Lacs girls and Pine City boys placing 2nd.
