The Isanti County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, in conjunction with the National Weather Service, will provide a program called Skywarn Training (also referred to as Storm Spotter) which will be held Tuesday, April 10, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Cambridge Intermediate School Lecture Hall Room 208.
This training is beneficial for those who simply wish to become better informed, as well as those who want to be designated storm spotters. The training will be conducted by a Warning Coordination Meteorologist from the National Weather Service.
There is no charge for the training, but call Isanti County Homeland Security and Emergency Management office at 763-689-8306 or email [email protected] as soon as possible to pre-register.
Due to the prediction of early flooding, visit www.co.isanti.mn.us or call the Office of Homeland Security Emergency Management prior to the training for possible rescheduling.
