Medica Foundation gives grants to public health, The Refuge
The Medica Foundation in 2011 awarded $10,000 in grants to two Isanti County organizations.
Isanti County Public Health Services and The Refuge Network, located in Cambridge, each received $5,000 to support health-related programming core to their missions.
In 2011, the Medica Foundation awarded $2.5 million in grants to 104 recipients across the Upper Midwest.
The funding priorities for the Medica Foundation in 2011 included behavioral health, early childhood health, healthy living, inappropriate emergency room use and core mission support.
