Raymond J. Dabrowski, 66, of Dalbo died March 12, 2012 at GracePointe Crossing Gables West.
Raymond John Dabrowski was born May 21, 1945 in Minneapolis to Michael and Ann (Werbowski) Dabrowski. He was raised and attended school in northeast Minneapolis. Raymond served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict and he was a Purple Heart recipient. On Oct. 5, 1974 Raymond married Sandra Bearl at Holy Cross Catholic Church. They lived in Princeton and then in the Isanti County area for the last 36 years. Raymond worked as a truck driver, welder and mechanic. He was a very handy person who could fix anything. In his younger years he loved racing. Raymond also loved animals and especially his horses. Raymond and his family often participated in horse shows. He also enjoyed classical music.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Sandy; two daughters, Jackie (Terry) Simon of Sandstone, Janelle Dabrowski of Duluth; one brother, Michael Dabrowski Jr., of Minneapolis; two sisters, Joan Dabrowski of Minneapolis, Pat (Loren) Goese of Coon Rapids; three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Michael and Sierra; and by other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by an infant sister.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2012 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Cambridge with Father James David Hahn as Celebrant. A visitation will be held 1/2 hour prior to the funeral Friday at the church and also from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
