Peoples Bank gives to Lasting Imprint during heart awareness

Peoples Bank of Commerce raised funds for Lasting Imprint during February’s heart awareness month.

Amber Wilkinson, Princeton Office Manager, presents a $300 check to Melissa Ternes, a Peoples Bank employee who recently lost a child to a CHD and has become actively involved with Lasting Imprint.

Lasting imprint is a non-profit corporation that supports the research of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) and the families dealing with it.

They have meetings available to families raising a child with CHD or who have lost a child due to it. They also deliver bags to families that are in the hospital with their child. Typically the bag will consist of snacks, books, a gas gift card, and other items that may be helpful to the family while spending their time in the hospital.

The individuals who are running this organization are very willing to help families in any way they can and are taking action to help families who in the future may have a child of their own with a CHD. To learn more about Lasting Imprint visit lastingimprint.org.
