Play Inc would like to thank patrons, performers and helpers

Dear Editor:

As Artistic Director of Play Inc Community Theatre, I would like to take a moment and thank everybody who played a part in making our recent production of The Sound of Music such a huge success. Obviously there are many people on stage and behind the scenes who played a significant role. From that group, I would like to single out the people of the Fish House for their generosity and willingness to volunteer for anything we needed help with.

I’d like to thank our director Lydia Orvis for her organization and vision to bring this production to the stage in 20 rehearsals. Her parents Phil and Kathy Olson of Braham for the help in getting set pieces and costumes that we didn’t have in our storage.

Lastly, and most importantly, I would like to thank each one of you that attended our performances. Each member of the audience brought with them a unique familiarity with Play Inc.  Each member of the audience left with a shared experience of what theatre and Play Inc have to offer this community.

The point to all of that is that we could not have done this show without your support. We would like that support to continue. In order to do that, we need to know what you want to see. We are already mulling over ideas for next winter. It’s the perfect time to get your input to us.

Please visit our and fill out our survey about your experience.
