DFL Party districts change

Due to statewide redistricting and the reorganization of the Minnesota State Democratic Farmer-Labor Party, Isanti County DFL and Chisago County DFL will merge and form a new Senate District 32 in March.

Isanti County residents of the townships of Athens, Stanford, Spencer Brook, and Bradford will merge into Senate District #31,which is south of Isanti County.

Accordingly, there will be no Isanti County DFL Convention this year. The convention, which was set to occur on March 10 at the Cambridge-lsanti High School has been cancelled. There will be one more meeting of the Isanti County DFL on Thursday March 15, at Lake State Federal Credit Union on the corner of Co. Rd. 5 and Hwy. 65 in Isanti.

Persons residing in Bradford, Spencer Brook, Athens, and Stanford townships are directed to attend the DFL Senate District #31 Convention to be held at 9 a.m. at the St. Francis High School on March 24.

DFLers from the rest of the county (Cambridge, lsanti, Braham, Dalbo, Cambridge Township, Isanti Township, Maple-Ridge Township, North Branch Township, Springvale Township, Stanchfield Township, Oxford Township, and Wyannet Township) are directed to attend the Senate District #32 convention at the North Branch High School in North Branch, on March 24.
