The Elvis of Hypnosis-Mikenosis

In 1999 Michael Colucci saw his first hypnotic show. He was amazed by what he had witnessed. His words were, “What was that?” He then realized that stage hypnotism was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Michael Colucci, otherwise known as Mikenosis, will perform at the St. Francis American Legion on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Colucci, a North Branch native, will perform at the St. Francis American Legion on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $15, with 20 percent of the ticket price donated to the Family Pathways Food Shelf. The St. Francis American Legion is located at 3073 Bridge St. NW. For tickets call 763-753-4234.

The show will also feature special guest comedian Chad Filley.

For the past 11 years Colucci, 43—otherwise known as Mikenosis—has traveled across the Midwest sharpening his hypnosis act.

Colucci’s training began in Las Vegas. He went on to hypnotherapy training to become a certified master hypnotist. In the fall of 2000, Colucci performed his very first professional show.

Growing up, Colucci said he always had a fascination with Elvis Presley so it became a natural direction for his act. An original, just like the “King of Rock and Roll” Mikenosis promises to make every show an event to remember.

As the “King of Hypnosis,” the act grabs your attention much the way Elvis was able to do. Colucci strives to make every one of his shows better than the last.
