Owls host ‘Youth Night’ Feb. 25 vs. Hudson

The Minnesota Owls split its weekend set of games while still holding the No. 3 spot in the Minnesota Junior Hockey League.

On Friday night the Owls downed the Dells Ducks 5-4 in overtime with Nick Ernst scoring just 1:04 into the extra frame.

Saturday night, the Owls travelled to Edina to face the Lakers who will also be the Owls first round playoff opponent. The Owls came out strong but fell 5-3 to the Lakers.

The Owls’ next home action is Saturday, Feb. 25 when the Hudson Crusaders come to town. Game time is 7:30 p.m.  at the Isanti Arena. This is the last regular-season home game before the playoffs, therefore as a “Thank you” to all the minor league hockey fans the Owls are presenting “Youth Night” where fans 10-under wearing his or her team jersey will be admitted free.
