Upcoming grant workshops offered by Arts Council

The East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC) is a Minnesota Regional Arts Council which serves Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine counties.

The mission of ECRAC is to increase the arts and this is done primarily through the funding of grants to artists and also to organizations that sponsor arts activities.

ECRAC Executive Director Mary Minnick-Daniels will offer information on ECRAC grant applications, grant reviews, and grant funding procedures. This is in preparation for the upcoming art grant application deadlines. Application forms and information will be available at the seminar.

The location will be the East Central Regional Arts Council Office, 112 Main St. South, Braham. The upcoming grant workshop is Thursday, Feb. 2 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. To register contact the ECRAC office at 320-396-2337 or email [email protected]

Minnesota Artist Exhibition Program

Christopher Atkins is the coordinator of the Minnesota Artists Exhibition Program, a curatorial program of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts dedicated to exhibiting and supporting artists living and working in the State of Minnesota.

He will provide a workshop for artists on what the program is and the opportunities provided. This workshop will be held Thursday, Feb. 23 from 5 to 6:30  p.m., at the East Central Regional Arts Council Office, 112 Main St. South, Braham.
