C-I’s Nault-Maurer advances to State Triple A contest

Cambridge-Isanti seniors Benjamin Nault-Maurer was selected by the Section 7AA Academic, Arts & Athletic Award (Triple A) committee to represent the section in the Class AA state level of the program sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. Nault-Maurer will attend the Triple A banquet held the weekend of the boys State basketball tourney and is eligible for a $4,000 scholarship if he is selected as the Triple A winner in Class AA.

“Benj is a real class act. He is an outstanding student, a tremendous athlete and a gifted musician,” described District 911 Activities Director Mark Solberg.

Benjamin, the son of David and Sally Nault-Maurer, is a member of the National Honor Society, served on the LINK Crew, sings in the Concert Choir, and plays in both the Symphonic and Jazz Bands. In sports, he was a defender on the Bluejacket boys soccer team and is currently a leader on the Bluejacket boys swim & dive squad.
