Braund, Sorenson-Giffrow are BHS Triple A representatives

Seniors Cameron Braund and Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow were selected to represent Braham High School in the 2012 Academics, Arts & Athletics (Triple A) Award contest sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. On Wednesday, Jan. 18, area Triple A representatives were honored at a banquet in St. Cloud (pictured).

Braund and Sorenson-Giffrow are excellent students and leaders in their school, both being active with the Student Council. They also are members of the upper choir and Echelon choir.

Cameron, the son of Zane and Janelle Braund, was a hard-working two-way lineman on the Bomber football team which reached State last autumn, and he is currently a strong center for the Bomber boys basketball team.

Sorenson-Giffrow, the daughter of Julie & Chad Giffrow, is a 1,000-point scorer for the Bomber girls basketball team– named to two All-Tourney teams at State– along with being a solid teammate on the Bomber volleyball and softball teams.

Those two will compete against other Triple A candidates in Section 4A, with one boy and girl advancing to the Class A Triple A competition and banquet held during the State boys basketball tourney.
