Our Response is a local non-profit that two years ago united with World Vision and the people of East Central Minnesota to fight poverty in Kivuruga, Rwanda.
As their second year comes to a close, they would like to invite the community to join them in celebrating what they as a community have accomplished, and what their goals are for the coming year.
This free event will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, at 6 p.m. at Cambridge-Isanti High School’s Richard G. Hardy Performing Arts Center and is open to everyone and will highlight the unity of many East Central churches and the generous sponsorship of over 250 Kivurugan children.
Joining them will also be performing artist Sara Groves, to share her music and her personal experiences in traveling to Rwanda. Hear more about Our Response and their recent team trip to Kivuruga. Learn how you can be involved in transforming a community, one child at a time.
