Would you enjoy the challenge of a program offering you incentives to read? Are you jealous when you watch your child (or grandchild) sign up for the kid’s reading program every summer? Most of all, do you believe that adults like prizes too?
Beginning Jan. 9, the Cambridge Public Library will offer a reading program for adults. “Hot Reads for Cold Nights” is a fun adult program designed to make the winter months more enjoyable for adult library users. The program will begin during the gray winter days of January and continue for six weeks, ending Feb. 17.
To participate, simply read or listen to a library item, then fill out a review and entry form. Weekly drawings will be held for prizes. Win a coffee mug and hot chocolate or a gift certificate to a local store. The program is sponsored by the Cambridge Friends of the Library.
