Author Darby Nelson Shares “For the Love of Lakes” with C-I Rotary Club

Understanding human’s relationship with lakes is complex. Author Darby Nelson has researched and recorded his findings in his book “For the Love of Lakes.” He shared a few highlights from the book with the Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club, Jan. 5 during the Club Meeting at Wintergreens Golf and Grill in Isanti. The Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club is dedicated to water conservation issues and sponsors local water projects annually.
Nelson is a Faculty Emeritus from Anoka-Ramsey Community College. He retired from Anoka-Ramsey in 2001 after teaching biology and environmental science for 35 year. He is also a former Minnesota State Legislator and the former Board President of Conservation Minnesota.
