Braham girls rally on Esko 56-54

Braham Girls 56, Esko 54

At a major Section 7AA preview Jan. 3, the visiting Bombers rallied from a 27-19 first-half deficit to defeat the Eskomos who are ranked 5th in Class AA. Becca Dahlman heated up in the second half to finish with 40 points, with Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow adding 6 points for the 2nd-ranked Bombers.

Coach Tim Malone: “This was a very big win for our Bombers. After not shooting well again in the first half, the girls came up huge defensively in the second half to force 14 Eskomo turnovers. I’m proud of the gutsy effort the girls put forth to come back in the second half. We have another big game at Isle Thursday night.”
