Swedish Breakfast Club

Den svenska frukostklubben samlas den sista torsdag i månaden klockan 8:00 på morgonen på Creamery Cafe i Isanti. Välkommen till alla som har intresse för det svenska språket och kulturen. Vi ses. (The Swedish breakfast club meets the last Thursday of the month at 8 a.m. at the Creamery Cafe in Isanti. Everyone is welcome who has an interest in the Swedish language and heritage. Isanti VFW Fundraiser Chili Contest

Sunday, Jan. 1: The Isanti VFW will hold a Fundraiser Chili Contest from 3-5 p.m. Rules and sign up sheet at the Isanti VFW, 410 Railroad Ave South, 763-444-9787.

Isanti ATV & Snowmobile Parade

Sunday, Jan. 1: The Annual ATV & Snowmobile Parade will be held on Main Street in Isanti. Parade line up is at 2:30 p.m., with the line up at the Isanti Middle School Parking Lot. The parade begins at 3 p.m. and a Chili Feed will be held after at the Isanti Community Center. Trophies will be awarded. Come see the Vintage snowmobiles and crazy ATV’s. Sponsored by the Cambridge Drift Dusters and the Isanti Police Department.

Free Community Dinner, Bread Distribution

Thursday, Jan. 5: 

A free community dinner and bread distribution will be held the first Thursday of each month. It’s hosted by Cambridge UPC Church, located at 210 10th Ave SW, Cambridge, (renting the Seventh Day Adventist Church), and will be held from 5:30 -7 p.m. Questions, or need a ride, call Pastor David L. Willis at 651-674-8842.

Cambridge Community Blood Drive

Jan. 5 & 6:

Overflowing Love

Monday, Jan. 9:

Have you ever wondered if God really loves you, if He cares about you personally. Jesus said, “ All who are thirsty come and drink of me.” Well come and experience His longing for an intimately personal relationship with you. Bob Lex, the author of the book, “Amazing Love,” will share from God’s personal love letter to you called, Song of Solomon. Come and drink. The event will be held from 7-9 p.m. at Minnco Credit Union, Cambridge. Not a Bible study-an impartation of the passionate love of Jesus.

Salvation Army truck in Isanti

Saturday, Jan. 14: 

The Salvation Army is in desperate need of donations of clothing and housewares at this time. They will have a truck in the parking lot of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 207 County Rd. 23 N.W., Isanti, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They will be collecting gently used and/or new clothing and shoes for men, women, and children, as well as houseware, electronics and furniture.

Mens Auxiliary Pancake Breakfast

Saturday, Jan. 14:

The Isanti VFW Mens Auxiliary will host a Pancake Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon.  Proceeds to benefit veterans programs and C-I Student Ambassador Dorothy Hunt. Isanti VFW, 410 Railroad Ave South, 763-444-9787.
