Director, SAC’s on Third
The Active Seniors at SAC’s have been busy, busy, busy this past month. Open painting started Tuesday, Dec. 6 and will continue every Tuesday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Bring whatever your working on and paint with others. We had three painters on our first day.
There were 13 of us who went to see an Amazing Elvis Show at the Ideal Presence Theater in St. Paul and had a delicious meal. A group of us went to the Mall of America and enjoyed the holiday decorations with shopping and lunch.
At our Thanksgiving dinner we served 67 seniors and are hoping to have that many at our Christmas dinner on Dec. 21. Please call and RSVP to join us.
Lastly, at the annual Isanti County Senior Citizen Christmas Party at the Cambridge Lutheran Church we had 108 attendees. We had awesome entertainment by the Prime Time Singers. We also had Mark Scherer who was accompanied by Deb and Sara Snell and Matthew Hannon. Don’t forget to stop by Tuesday, Dec. 27 for cinnamon and caramel rolls and coffee at 9:30 a.m. for 50 cents.
Just remember SAC’s is here for our seniors. If you haven’t been here for a while-come on back. If you are new to the area, we would love to have you come for a visit. Give us a call for a newsletter. SAC’s is a great place to belong to. For more information call 763-689-6555.
