Construction is underway on a new Tractor Supply Company store in Cambridge, the company’s 10th Minnesota location.
Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States and has been operating in Minnesota since 1946.
The new Cambridge Tractor Supply store will be located in the former Lumberland space at 1465 First Ave. East, and will employ 12 to 17 full-and part-time team members. The 18,000-square-foot store will include sales floor and support service space. A fenced exterior space will be used for storage and displaying items such as fencing, sprayers and livestock equipment.
The contractor for the project, BJ Bass Builders, Inc. of Cambridge, began construction on Oct. 24. A completion date has been tentatively set for late February 2012.
