Public invited to college play

The Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus Theatre Department welcomes the public to its upcoming production of Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music, Dec 1 – 3, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m., in the Charles and Juanita Peterson Community Room. Alumni Night is Dec. 3, and the interpreted performance is Dec. 4.

ARCC students (l-r) Matthew Ford, Elizabeth Evans and David Bonine IV rehearse for the Cambridge Campus’s upcoming production of ‘Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music.’

“I hope everyone will come and see this play starring some fantastic local talent,” said play director Lisa Weaver. “Lee Blessing wrote a very funny, very sweet story about a bunch of kooky characters trying to find their path in life‑something we can all relate to and understand. Enjoy the show.”

Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music is a sharply drawn and very funny play about the personal heartaches and public eccentricities of a woman from Minnesota who moves to Texas for love and takes up residence over the Nice People Dancing to Good Country Music bar.

Tickets are $8 and available at the college bookstore during normal business hours or the box office 60 minutes before each performance.
