Boy Scout Tree Sale
Beginning Nov. 25: Isanti Boy Scout Troop 523 will be having their annual Christmas tree lot at Riverside Market in Isanti starting the Friday after Thanksgiving through Dec. 23. Hours: Fridays 4-8 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Festival of Lights
Thursday, Dec. 1: The Friends of Cambridge Medical Center (formerly CMC Auxiliary) will host the annual Festival of Lights from 5-6 p.m. in the CMC Cafeteria. Let a light shine this holiday season in honor or in memory of someone you love by making a donation to support the Emergency Department and Short Stay Services expansion project. Service of Remembrance
Sunday, Dec. 4: Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home of Cambridge will hosts its 13th annual “Service of Remembrance” at 7 p.m. at the Cambridge Lutheran Church. All members of the community who have had a loss of a loved one are invited to a candle lighting ceremony. Guests will hear a message of hope and healing from Rev. Andy Romstad. Musical performers will be Gwen Anderson, Kenny Krona and Denise Osterman. Personalized keepsake Christmas tree ornaments are available to anyone. The service will be available on DVD. Holiday Bake & Craft Sale
Dec. 9-10: A Holiday Bake & Craft Sale will be held at the Cambridge City Center (formerly Cambridge Mall) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds go to the Isanti County Human Society. On Saturday, Dec. 10, “Just for Paws” Grooming is donating all proceeds from nail trim to the Humane Society. They are also located in the Cambridge City Center.
Braham Santa Day
Saturday, Dec. 10: Braham Santa Day will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham. It will feature an All You Can Eat Dad’s Belgian Waffle Breakfast. Tickets on sale at various locations. Advance tickets $7 adults, kids 6-12 $5; At the door $8 adults, $6 kids 6-12, Kids 5 and younger eat free with adult ticket purchase. Something for everyone. This event will serve as a fundraiser for the Braham Community Center.
Isanti VFW Christmas Party
Saturday, Dec. 10: The Isanti VFW Women’s Auxiliary will host its annual Christmas Party from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Isanti VFW, 410 Railroad Ave. Santa will be there with treats, and bring your camera for pictures with Santa.
City Center Market Holiday Open House
Saturday, Dec. 10: City Center Market will hold its annual Holiday Open House from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. They will feature samples of delicious party dips, spreads & treats from their Deli, as well as other holiday foods; and great sales on unique holiday gifts.
