Thanks for making “Dig Pink” a success

Dear Editor:

The Cambridge-Isanti Jackets VB Boosters would like to express our appreciation to everyone who made the October 18th “Dig Pink” breast cancer fundraising event a success.

First of all, a big thank you to our sponsors/contributors who believed in our cause and supported our vision: Cambridge Bar and Grill, Cambridge Eye Associates, Cambridge Orthodontics PA, Cambridge Chiropractic, City Center Market, Curves, Deb Newton-Frantz, Dee Kotaska, Grandy Lions, Hair Gallery – Jen Smith, Hair Mania, Hair Mania – Julie Tschumper, Melissa Hutchens DDS PA, Muriel Gorham, Nate Jannusch, Scout and Morgan Books, Spalon Elite, Star 95 Carwash, Trios, Walman Optical of St. Paul and WillowBridge Center.

Thank you to Maddy Gunderson, Mikaela Kase, Sydney Johnson, Hannah Palmer and Erica Young for their beautiful performance of the National Anthem. Thanks to Mr. Wells, C-I choir director, for his assistance.

Thank you C-I High School and middle school coaches and players for your enthusiasm, energy and dedication. Through your involvement, you brought awareness to your family and friends. Keep up the good work!

Finally, a special thank you to the cancer survivors who attended our event and to those who were unable to attend. You are our inspiration.

Through “Dig Pink” events, the Jackets VB Boosters will continue educating and raising awareness about breast cancer prevention. We hope to make next year’s event even more successful. (Editor’s Note: This letter was paid for due to the number of business listings).
