Tweens & Teens Gaming Night
Thursday, Nov. 17: Tweens & Teens Gaming Night at the Cambridge Public Library will take place from 6-7:30 p.m. and include all kinds of gaming (video games, board games, card games, and charades). Tweens and teens ages 11-16 are invited to come. They will use the Meeting Room for this event. Cambridge Friends are providing the pizza and pop and tweens from the Isanti Middle School Jr. Honor Society have volunteered to help. There will be prizes, too. Come join for an evening of fun with friends.
Harvest Dinner & Bake Sale
Thursday, Nov. 17: A Harvest Dinner and Bake Sale will be held at Braham Evangelical Lutheran Church, 905 West Central Drive, from 5-7 p.m. There will also be a quit raffle. Dinner includes hot roast beef, mashed potatoes, corn, coleslaw, rolls, beverages and Apple or Pumpkin Pie. Cost is $8 adults; $5 ages 5-12 and under 5 free. $25 maximum per family.
Nov. 17 or 21: Green Barn Garden Center in Isanti will be offering holiday workshops. In November, create your own outdoor evergreen planter with spruce tips, greens and accents. Cost: $26.99 includes instruction and supplies. Class offered Thursday, Nov. 17 at 6 p.m., or Monday, Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. Call 763-444-5725 to reserve a place.
VFW Post 2735 Bake Sale
Friday, Nov. 18: The VFW Post 2735 Auxiliary Bake sale will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at MinnCo Credit Union, 235 1st Ave. W., Cambridge. Proceeds will go toward veterans’ needs in Isanti County.
Isanti County Self-Advocacy Meeting
Friday, Nov. 18: An Isanti County Self-Advocacy meeting will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. at Cambridge United Methodist Church, on North Cypress Street, Cambridge. The meeting will focus on self-advocacy issues, and the upcoming year’s agenda. Sunday, Nov. 20: A Turkey & Ham Bingo & Chili Dinner will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 207 Co. Rd. 23 NW, Isanti. Turkey & Ham Bingo starts at 6 p.m. Chili Dinner $1 per bowl, 5 p.m. until gone. Sponsored by the Isanti Knights of Columbus.

Sunday, Nov. 20: The Teen Challenge Choir will perform at Harvest Church in Isanti (Hwy. 65 & Co. Rd. 5) at 10:30 a.m. Free meal to follow performance.
Free Community Day with Luncheon

Sunday, Nov. 20: The East Central Minnesota Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 684 will host a Pancake Breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon at the Isanti Community Center, 1st Ave. & Norelius Street. Beginning Nov. 25: Isanti Boy Scout Troop 523 will be having their annual Christmas tree lot at Riverside Market in Isanti starting the Friday after Thanksgiving through Dec. 23. Hours: Fridays 4-8 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sundays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Masons and K.C.’s Spaghetti Dinner
Saturday, Nov. 26: The Helios Masonic Lodge and the Cambridge Knights of Columbus will be serving a Spaghetti Dinner at the Christ the King Catholic Parish Hall from 5-7 p.m. to benefit the Harbor Room—Cancer Resource Center. Cost of the dinner is $6 per person with children five and under eating free. Please bring a non perishable food item for the food shelf.
