Safe Sitter Babysitter Course offered

Babysitting is important business and a great first job. Safe Sitter in a one-day course developed by pediatrician, Dr. Patricia Keener, to help students receive the necessary training to become a successful babysitter. This class is offered by Braham Area Community Education for youth ages 11 and up and taught by Safe Sitter trained staff.

This course teaches you the skills needed, including CPR and first-aid, to safely care for children from infant through school age. After the completion of this class, you will receive a certification card and the confidence needed to handle the many situations that may arise on the job. This knowledge will help you in the future, too.

Class will be held Monday, Nov. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Braham Area High School and is class size is limited so sign up early. Pre-registration is required. Parents will be invited for a short demonstration at 4 p.m. Please bring a bag lunch. Need a scholarship? Requests must be made in writing at the time of registering.
