Isanti man found guilty of criminal sexual conduct
A jury found an Isanti man guilty of felony first degree criminal sexual conduct.
On Tuesday, Oct. 18, a jury found Douglas Neil Raasch, 35, guilty of felony 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with penetration with a person under the age of 13 and the actor is in a position of authority.
The jury acquitted Raasch of the first count of felony 1st degree criminal sexual conduct with contact with a person under the age of 13 and the actor is at least 36 months older than the victim.
Raasch is scheduled for sentencing Dec. 21 before Judge P. Hunter Anderson in 10th District Court in Cambridge.
Raasch first appeared in court March 5, 2010 on the two felony charges, and pled not guilty to both charges in April 2010.
According to the criminal complaint, under the guilty verdict, on Oct. 6, 2008 and continuing through March 4, 2010, Raasch engaged in sexual conduct with the victim.
When law enforcement and family services interviewed the victim, she indicated the sexual acts occurred every couple of months.
