Swedish Meatball Dinner at St. John’s
A Swedish Meatball Dinner, sponsored by the St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery Board, will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, from 5-7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church-Weber, 28168 Jodrell St. NE, North Branch.
Swedish Meatballs, Mashed Potatoes w/Gravy, Vegetable, Coleslaw, Bun, Dessert, Coffee and Milk, will be served. Tickets are $7 adults, $5, 6-12 and 5 and under free. Save $1 if purchase in advance. For tickets, contact a Cemetery Board member or call the church office at 763-444-5988.
Sale and Dinner proceeds benefit the Lawn & Maintenance Care Fund for the Weber and Bradford Cemeteries.
Annual Kroppkakor Supper at Spring Lake Lutheran Church
The annual Swedish Kroppkakor (potato and pork) supper will be Thursday, Oct. 27, from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at Spring Lake Lutheran Church, North Branch. The traditional Scandinavian meal will be served by members dressed for the occasion. While waiting to be seated, all are invited to purchase creative gift items and delicious goodies from the Bake and Craft sale.
Cost of the meal is adults, $9; ages 6-12, $3.50; 5 and under free. Takeouts will be sold ($9) as long as they are available.

Polka Service and brats at Calvary Lutheran, Rush Point
On Sunday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m., a polka service will be held at Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rush Point featuring Jon Ekstrom and Kings Men.
Following the service, bratwursts and hot dogs with chips, beans, beverages with ice cream will be served. Calvary is 5 1/2 miles east of Grandy on Co. Rd. 6. All are invited to a morning of enjoyable music, food and fellowship.
First Baptist Church to show viewing of “Journey to Jamaa”
First Baptist Church, 304 Main St. S., Cambridge, will host a viewing of World Vision’s “Journey to Jamaa.”

Pregnancy Resource Center of Cambridge is holding its annual fall fundraising banquet on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Spirit River Community Center (formerly Spectacular Events) in Isanti. Harvest & Holly Craft & Bake Sale at Cambridge UMC
The annual Holly & Harvest Craft & Bake Sale will be hosted at Cambridge United Methodist Church from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. Nondenominational Bible Talks will be held on Sundays, at the Spirit River Community Center in Isanti, 1320 Co. Rd. 5.
