Nate Fuhol (left) was the 2011 Sanbrook Club Champion, and Mike White was the Club Net Champ.
The Sanbrook GC season concluded with the Men’s Club Championship Thursday, Aug. 31, with Nathan Fuhol winning the Club Championship with a 5-over 112 after finishing 2nd at the Purple Hawk championship. Runner-up was Bryant Geis with a 8-over 115. The Club Net champion was Mike White with a net 100, and runner-up was Lee Pierce with 101.

Braham’s Eklund appointed fo MSHSL Board
Braham School Board chairman Steve Eklund was appointed by Gov. Mark Dayton to the Minnesota State High School League Board of Directors. Eklund’s term as a public representative on the MSHSL Board runs from 2011-2015.
District 911 Activities Director Mark Solberg is a 2011-2012 member of the MSHSL Board, representing boys sports.
C-I Youth Wrestling begins Oct. 24
Cambridge-Isanti Wrestling Boosters will sponsor K-5th Grade Youth Wrestling again this season which begins Monday, Oct. 24. Practices will run 3-4:35 p.m. both at Isanti Intermediate and Cambridge Intermediate schools. Cost: $45 (2 family members $55, 3 or more $65). The In-House tourney and Cambridge-Isanti Dual will run Tuesday, Nov. 22 at CIHS.
