East Terrace Cooperative of Cambridge will be offering a coffee get-together and presentation by Lisa Krahn, Outreach Coordinator at Seven County Senior Federation on Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Krahn’s program will discuss upcoming changes for Medicare Part C and D to allow Medicare recipients to make better educated choices in their programs. Basic Medicare changes in these programs will be revealed soon and the “window of opportunity” to drop, switch or join a plan for next year is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2011.
People who are currently on Medicare or those who are new to the program are encouraged to attend to find out the choices they have in selecting Part C and D programs. The public is welcome.
