C-I boys soccer swats Hornets
Cambridge-Isanti evened its Mississippi 8 boys soccer record at 1-1 with a 5-1 victory at Big Lake Sept. 22.
The Bluejackets (4-3 all) have won two straight games after also topping St. Francis 2-1 Sept. 20. In that match, Josh Samsa’s header goal late in the first half tied it at 1-1, then Micah Brady scored his first varsity goal off a Samsa crossing pass in the 61st minute.

The Bluejackets raised their conference record to 3-1 with the home victory Sept. 22.
Braham Volleyball sweeps Dragons
The Bombers evened their Great River record at 2-1 with a 25-14, 25-16, 25-7 sweep at Pine City Sept. 22.

The Bison took the Sept. 22 home meet over the Bluejackets. The C-I girls are now 0-2 in Mississippi 8 dual meets.
