Cambridge Campus welcomes best-selling author Oct. 3

Anoka-Ramsey Community College Cambridge Campus welcomes international best-selling author of psychological suspense novels, Brian Freeman, Monday, Oct. 3, 3 p.m., Room G202. The public is invited to this free event.

Freeman’s books have been sold in 46 countries and 20 languages. His fifth novel The Burying Place was a finalist for Best Novel of 2010 in the International Thriller Writer Awards.  His debut thriller, Immoral, won the Macavity Award and was a nominee for the Edgar®, Dagger, Anthony and Barry Awards for best first novel. His second novel, Stripped, was named one of the top 10 mysteries of the year by the South Florida Sun Sentinel and was a finalist for the Minnesota Book Award.

The Library Journal review of his third novel, Stalked, said “Freeman just keeps outdoing himself with each book.” Publishers Weekly gave his fourth book, In the Dark, a starred review, calling it Freeman’s best book yet, “harrowing and heartrending.” His newest novel is The Bone House.

In addition to his suspense novels, Freeman is co-author of the chick-lit book The Agency under the pseudonym Ally O’Brien.
