Ryan was born May 16, 1962 in St. James to Ron and Shirley Mossengren. After high school in Cambridge he moved to California where he drove truck for his uncles before buying his own truck. Ryan and his wife Rose, along with their 3 children at the time, moved back to Bradford, Minnesota in October of 1987. After their 4th child was born he worked in various shops as a mechanic until 2001. After that he worked as a mechanic at home.
Ryan enjoyed 4-wheeling, boating, camping and anything that had to do with motors. His pride was a 1967 Camaro that he bought to restore. That project ended up being done by his brother, Randy and his son Jim and a few others. His latest project was a “Rat Rod.” A 1936 Chevy pick up. Unfortunately that one didn’t get done. Ryan’s grandchildren brought a special light to his eyes. He always looked forward to their visits to see their “Boppa Ryan.”
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Ryan is survived by his wife, Rose of Bradford; 4 children, Krystal Mossengren of Burnsville, Jim (Jamee) Mossengren of Cambridge, Jessica (Jeremy) Combel of Cambridge, Rachelle Mossengren of Cambridge; 6 grandchildren, McKensi, Maxwell, Taylor, Devon, Faith and Landen; sister, LuAnn (Steve) Nelson of Northfield; brother, Randy (Vicki) Mossengren of Bradford; and by many other relatives and friends.
