The Parish Fall Festival takes places on Saturday, Sept. 17. at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church on Hwy. 107, one mile east of Hwy. 65 in Braham.
Bike-a-thon registration begins at 8 a.m. followed by face painting and balloons, a huge inflated bounce house obstacle course and other kids’ games. There will be a car show throughout the day.
The auction begins at 10 a.m. with the help of Steve and Joanie Smith of www.SmithsAuction.com.
For lunch, the concession stand will have hot dogs and brats and all the fixings, including fresh sauerkraut; lots of ice cold beer on tap from lunchtime all the way through the pork chop dinner that begins at 4:30 p.m.
There will also be a bake sale, farmer’s market, a white elephant sale and the concluding event of a bonfire and karaoke beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Church raffle tickets will also be on sale — get a chance to win the grand prize of $500 and five secondary prizes of $100 each. The drawing will be conducted after a limited number of tickets are sold.
