Designers move, make way for Cafe Caffeine and Guitar Shop

Dave Erickson Designers and Designer Development Inc., a new home, cabin, and home addition designer and Commercial Architectural service since 1975 have been a mainstay on the corner of 2nd Avenue Southwest and Ashland South for the last 12 years, and owner of the building for the last 35 years.

Cafe Caffeine and The Guitar Shop in Cambridge have moved into the current location of Designer Development Inc. and Dave Erickson Designers on 2nd Ave. The design business will move their offices to the west side of the same building.

They have leased out the front of the building to Laura Martin of “Café Caffeine” featuring fine locally roasted coffee, coffee beans and many other delights and Joel Pennington of “The Guitar Shop” where you can buy a guitar, fix a guitar or learn to play a guitar. They will be opening up their respective businesses at 145 Southwest 2nd Avenue during the first week of September. Watch for grand opening information to follow.

Designer Development Inc. and Dave Erickson Designers will be moving their offices to the west side of the same building and will continue to do custom home additions, new homes, log and stick built cabins. Also available will be commercial architecture with signed documents for those looking to do commercial buildings in the East Central Minnesota area and beyond. Their architect is licensed in multiple states and is a certified interior designer.
