River of Life Church is having a Grand Opening at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11. The church is so excited about its new location that they are inviting the community to see the “new digs.” The former building continues to be used by local fire departments for non-burn trainings. Because the cost of correcting the structural issues exceeds the value of the building, the Cambridge Fire Department will burn the building as training before the end of the year.
In the meantime, the paint is dry, the carpet is new and the remodeling dust has settled down at the building adjoining Total Health Chiropractic just south of Dairy Queen. Pastor Mark says, “If you do not have a church home, this is a great opportunity to check out what Sundays are like at River of Life.”
Unlike other Grand Openings there will not be a big sale, clowns or media coverage. There will be a message from the Bible that relates to life today. There will be a tour of the building, refreshments and maybe even a few balloons for the kids. So save the date and join us celebrating River of Life’s Grand Opening!
