Library launches interest survey to gather input from community
East Central Regional Library has launched an arts and cultural programming Interest Survey to gather input for our next round of Legacy programming.
The survey is only nine questions long, but will help provide the library with a wealth of information for them to plan ECRL Legacy programming for 2011-2013.
Libraries are at the center of our communities in providing education, information, and recreation. Now, thanks to continued funds provided through the Legacy Amendment, they will once again be providing arts and cultural experiences in their branches and communities.
The purpose of this survey is to identify desires of the public for arts and cultural activities that can happen in their branch libraries and communities. It is being conducted by the Legacy Funds Advisory Committee.
What programming or events would you like to see at your local ECRL branch? Writer’s workshops? Live theater? Perhaps a dance performance or a poetry event? Tell them what you think.
Anyone can access this survey from ECRL’s homepage at www.ecrlib.org, by simply clicking on “We’re planning Arts & Cultural Heritage Events.” Or if you prefer, simply fill out a paper survey at any one of ECRL’s branch libraries or link sites.
