Local Farmers’ Markets
Ongoing: Cambridge Farmers’ Market takes place on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the City Center Market’s parking lot. Master Gardeners join us again this year to answer any questions. Isanti Farmers’ Market is on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Riverside Market Grocery Store parking lot.
Fundraiser for Mann Field

Saturday, Aug. 13: A benefit for Brian Markel will be held from 1-7 p.m. at the American Legion in North Branch. Sloppy Joe Dinner; Door Prizes; Silent Auction; Bake Sale, 1-5:30 p.m.; and Live Music by The Fuzzy Dice, 5:30-7 p.m. Adults $10, Kids $5.
Raven’s Outdoor Party & ALS Benefit
Saturday, Aug. 13: Raven’s is hosting an ALS benefit for Ryan Mossengren from 2-7 p.m. Pig Roast will be $10 per plate. There will be tons of silent auction items, door prizes, kids games, a huge blowup obstacle course for children & adults, dunk tank, and more. All proceeds go to Ryan Mossengren & Family. American Red Cross Blood Drive
Monday, Aug. 15: An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 1-6 p.m. at Wintergreens Golf & Grill, 306 Credit Union Drive, Isanti. Men’s Cancer Support Group
Tuesday, Aug. 16: A support group for men dealing with cancer will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Men can discuss anything about their cancer journey or the journey of someone in their life. Facilitator, Jim Donahue, will lead the group in discussion. All men dealing with any cancer, in any way, are encouraged to attend. Refreshments provided. Public welcome to film screening on Lyme disease
Tuesday, Aug. 16: Minnesota Lyme Association North Branch Chapter invites you to attend the film screening of “Under Our Skin” that is a dramatic tale of microbes, medicine and money. This updated film investigates the untold story of Lyme disease, and reflects stories of patients and physicians as they battle for their lives and livelihoods. The event will be held at the North Branch Library Community Room, 6355 379th St., from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
