The Isanti County Fairboard would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came out and helped make the 2011 Fair a huge success.
In spite of the extreme heat and periods of rain throughout the week, those that braved the weather enjoyed great entertainment and plenty of food, fun, and exhibits. The Board of Directors presented many new attractions and along with the returning favorites, a great time was had by all. The Fairboard’s own home-grown Pork Chop Derby delighted everyone and along with the new “burn-out” competition at the Car Show, Mutton Bustin’ thanks to Heidelberger Farm Equipment, and a FREE Corn Feed prepared by the Isanti Lions, made “Family Day” on Sunday the best one yet.
A special thanks goes out to the Isanti County Sheriffs Department; Isanti County Safety Rescue; Allina Medical Services; Cambridge Fire Department, along with all of the exhibitors, participants, vendors, sponsors, businesses, fair volunteers, and individuals who contributed not only services, goods, and financial support; but took time out of their personal life during a hot July week to come out and help with this great Isanti County summer event.
In 2012, the Isanti County Fair will mark the 135th year of this great ‘Isanti County Get-Together’ and Annual Agricultural event. The Board of Directors are already looking forward to and making preparations to make the 135th Fair the ‘Best Five Days of July’ in 2012.
Again, a Sincere Thank You to All – the fair would not happen without the help and support of the entire community!
