Cambridge Dairy Queen to hold fundraiser for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare

On Thursday, Aug. 11, participating Dairy Queen locations in Minnesota and western Wisconsin will celebrate the sixth annual Miracle Treat Day, a day-long fundraiser benefiting Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The Cambridge Dairy Queen will participate in this day-long fundraiser.

On Miracle Treat Day, participating DQ stores and restaurants throughout North America serve up a variety of tasty Blizzard Treats. DQ operators donate $1 or more per Blizzard Treat sold to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a national organization committed to raising awareness of and funds for children’s hospitals.

All monies raised by DQ operators in Minnesota and western Wisconsin benefit Gillette. Last year, Gillette provided care to more than 23,000 children, including more than 130 kids from Isanti County.

Participating DQ stores throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin raised more than $235,000 on Miracle Treat Day last year.
