The 22nd Annual Swedish Language and Culture Day Camp will be held at the West Riverside Historic Site near Cambridge, from 9:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 15-19. Children ages 5 – 13 are invited to participate in the five day camp, while pre-schoolers ages four and five can attend a special pre-school camp for part of the week.  Instructors use multiple learning strategies for language teaching and learning. At 11:30 a.m. on the final day, children give a program for family and friends.

Participants will take three classes a day, language, crafts based on tradition, and songs and games. Teachers this year are Valorie Arrowsmith, Kathy Olson, Luke Snell, Torae Reid, and assistants are Sara Snell and Alison Olmstead.
