July was a busy time in Isanti and it finally felt like summer had arrived as AC’s buzzed and fans whirled. Senior Diners enjoyed the coolness in the Isanti Community Center where we meet on Mondays and Wednedays for fun, fellowship, and a nutritious meal at noon. Bingo and/or entertainment at 11:00 a.m.

We enjoyed the arm chair travel to Ireland with Sonja, The Lil Country Band and Gail Grell, and T ony Jambor with Ben Holden in July. Many thanks to these folks that made a hot July tolerable and enjoyable.

We start August on Monday the 1st with Bingo, and on Wednesday the 3rd Jorge Watson will return. It is also “Pie of the Month” day – Tropical Coconut Cream !

More events: Monday Aug. 8– .Bingo

It’s good to see a senior center with a varied range of activities going on. A lot of centers can get ‘samey’ with their activities, but not here.
