Cambridge Legion out of District 10 tourney

After defeating Coon Rapids in the District 10 tourney opener, the Cambridge Legion wrapped up its baseball season with losses to Eden Prairie (17-5) and Osseo (11-4) over the next two days last weekend. The Post #290 team finished the season with a 14-8 record.

Eden Prairie 17, Cambridge 5

Playing powerful Eden Prairie Friday morning, Nick Jellison took the loss after throwing 5 innings, giving up 7 hits and 6 runs. Trent Chromy, Hedberg, Austin Allen and Eric Koplitz also threw innings in the contest.

Hedberg led the attack with 3 hits and 2 runs. Johnson added a double and 1 RBI.

Osseo 11, Cambridge 4

Miller took the loss against Osseo Saturday morning, throwing 3.6 innings while giving up 7 hits and 3 runs. Burns and Clayton Jennissen also pitched innings. Miller had a single, double, and 2 RBI against the Orioles.
