A Princeton man has entered an Alford plea to a charge of felony 1st degree criminal sexual conduct that the state says happened in 2010 when he was caring for a 12-year-old girl and her sibling.

The Alford plea is not a guilty plea but rather a recognition that the evidence against him is sufficient that a conviction on the charge is likely.

Kyle Matthew Mosman, 22, appeared before Judge P. Hunter Anderson in 10th Judicial District Court in Cambridge June 23 where he entered the plea to 1st degree criminal sexual conduct-victim under 13 years and actor 36 months older and was scheduled for sentencing on Aug. 18.
