The Cambridge Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 3rd Annual “Race the Rum” 5k & 1 mile Family Run/Walk on Saturday, June 11.
The race will begin at 9 a.m. with an 8 a.m. registration time. There is a new location for the Race this year due to the construction of the 2nd Ave. bridge. The race this year will begin and end at the Isanti County Government Center. Also new this year—the 5K race will be officially chip timed by Pickle Events, and all results will be posted online. Awards will be given at 10:30 a.m. in the park.

The Cambridge Volunteer Fire Department & Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is providing the majority of labor resources in an effort to have a successful race that will contribute proceeds to the Fire Department and Chamber programs.

Cambridge Day Out
Cambridge Day Out on Saturday, June 11, will hold a wide variety of events, kids’ activities, crafts and eating opportunities. The event will be held in a new location this year – Central Greens Park, located in the Heritage Greens neighborhood in Cambridge, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Cambridge Day Out Event will be filled with fun family events, games, food and entertainment. There will be free food and beverages (free will donations), kids’ games, bounce house, family fun boot camp, face painting, climbing rock wall, Cambridge Celebrity dunk tank and entertainment in the park.
