In cooperation with the Outdoor Edge store in Cambridge, the District 911 Community Education is again offering this unique water sports class for beginners. On June 21, from 7 – 9 p.m., participants will receive basic instruction in kayaking techniques, safety procedures, and live in-water demonstrations of all types of kayaks.
Paddle boards will be also be available for practice. Other related types of equipment will be shown and provided along with handouts, discussions, and “warm water” practice time. Anyone from 7th grade to 85 years young who has good swimming ability and water survival skills is welcome to register for this class.
