The Cambridge Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 3rd Annual “Race the Rum” 5k & 1mile Family Run/Walk on June 11.
The race will begin at 9 a.m. with an 8 a.m. registration time. There is a new location for the Race this year due to the construction of the 2nd Ave. bridge.
The race this year will begin and end at the Isanti County Government Center. Also new this year—the 5K race will be officially chip timed by Pickle Events, and all results will be posted online.
Pre-registration is encouraged and participants are encouraged to register soon. Register online at www.cambridge-chamber.com or pick one up at the Cambridge Area Chamber Office or Cambridge City Hall.
The 5K& 1 Mile run/walk kicks-off a day-long celebration in Cambridge.
Cambridge Day Out will hold a wide variety of events, kid’s activities, crafts and eating opportunities.

The Cambridge Volunteer Fire Department &Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is providing the majority of labor resources in an effort to have a successful race that will contribute proceeds to the Fire Department and Chamber programs.
