Lowes supports Braham Elementary sandbox project

The Lowes store in Cambridge graciously donated the lumber, stain and screws needed to build a sandbox for the students at Braham Elementary this spring. A few years back, the very popular sandbox was destroyed when a tree fell on it. Once supplies were received, the sandbox just needed to be built and stained. Mr. Eichten, High School Instructor, and his first hour class were kind enough to come to the rescue and build the sand box for the young students.

With the aid of some more volunteers the sandbox will get placed in early June. “Thank-you to all who were able to help make this possible. Your support of the schools and students is greatly appreciated,” said BES teacher Sue Pearson.
